Cancellation Policy

Last updated: 26 August 2026. This policy applies to orders placed directly with us. Orders placed through Amazon.in must be cancelled through your Amazon account, under Amazon's own terms.

1. Cancelling before dispatch

You may cancel an order at any point before it has been dispatched, and receive a full refund. To do so, email onlinenewsdanka@gmail.com with your order number and the words “cancel order” in the subject line.

Because orders are usually packed and dispatched within one to two working days, please send cancellation requests as early as you can.

2. Once an order has been dispatched

After dispatch an order can no longer be cancelled. If you no longer want the books, you may either:

• refuse the delivery, in which case the parcel returns to us and we will refund the order value less the shipping cost incurred; or
• accept delivery and then raise a request under our return and refund policy, where the conditions of that policy apply.

3. Orders we may cancel

We reserve the right to cancel an order, with a full refund, where:

• the title or edition is out of stock or out of print;
• there was a pricing or listing error;
• the delivery address falls outside the areas we can serve;
• payment could not be verified, or the order is flagged as fraudulent.

Where we cancel an order, you will be notified by email and refunded in full.

4. Bulk and institutional orders

Bulk orders for schools, libraries and organisations are handled individually. Once printing or procurement has begun against a confirmed bulk order, cancellation may not be possible, or may be subject to a deduction covering costs already incurred. The terms will be set out in writing when the order is confirmed.

5. Signed and personalised copies

Copies that have been signed or personally inscribed to order cannot be cancelled once the inscription has been made, as they cannot be resold.

6. Refunds on cancellation

Approved cancellation refunds are issued to the original payment method within seven to ten (7–10) working days. The time taken for the amount to appear on your statement depends on your bank or card issuer.

7. Events and speaking engagements

Cancellation terms for confirmed speaking engagements and event appearances are agreed separately in writing at the time of booking, and are not covered by this policy.
